Naturama
Naturama is the Region of Southern Denmark's natural history museum, centrally located in cosy Svendborg.
Nature is complex - Naturama helps you see the bigger picture: Discover the secrets of nature and experience modern natural history on land, sea and air.
Visiting Naturama is a total experience with light, sound and film. The many exhibitions include the Nordic animals, Denmark's largest egg collection, the Arctic animals, the old zoological department or the close biodiversity in the Fairytale Garden exhibition.
A house full of experiences and memories
At Naturama you can experience giant whale skeletons, hundreds of birds, polar bears, wolves and wild boars. The café at the museum offers delicious food experiences for young and old. There are many terraces to enjoy the sun and plenty of space for children to play. Naturama's tour guides are always ready with great stories and there are always exciting activities, see the daily programme on the website.
