A top attraction for design and architecture enthusiasts

Most people know Arne Jacobsen's famous chairs such as the Seven, the Ant, the Swan and the Egg. But the Danish architect and designer has also created a summer house that few know about: Kubeflex. The house consists of cube-shaped modules that can be put together in many flexible ways and adjusted in size as needed.

Arne Jacobsen designed the Kubeflex in 1969-70, the year before his death in 1971, but it was never put into production. Until 2002, the house was used by the Jacobsen family as a summer residence, and since 2005 it has been part of Trapholt. Kubeflex is unique and furnished with Arne Jacobsen's designs.

The daily tours in Arne Jacobsen's summer house are free when the entrance to the museum is paid. Please note that there is a limited number of places and tickets are handed out by the guides in the Information. It is not possible to reserve tickets in advance.
