At Nørre Vosborg, Christmas is a time for peace and presence.
Quiet Christmas music tickles the ear and the manor houses are a feast for the eyes when they shine in their Christmas splendour.
Our talented flower girls have been working for 6 months towards the sumptuous result. Their mission this year is the colour purple, which will be the thread in the many differently decorated rooms. Purple has been used as an Advent colour since ancient times.
While the adults let go of the stresses of everyday life and soak up the Christmas spirit, younger children can explore and perhaps be lucky enough to take home a little something.
The familiar Christmas scent comes from the kitchen, where brownies are baked on the old wood-burning stove, according to the original Nørre Vosborg recipe, and there are samples for everyone and the opportunity to buy the recipe and a small bag to take home
You can buy mulled wine and apple slices etc. and relax while you braid a Christmas heart and enjoy the company of those you love the most.
Before you leave, you can take a horse-drawn carriage ride in the grounds of the manor house and enjoy nature and the many illuminated Christmas trees. The horse-drawn carriage runs between 11.00 and 15.00
On both Saturday and Sunday at 11.00 am, one of our expert guides will show you around the house and tell all the best stories of the place.
Nørre Vosborg's very own Manor Elf is said to live under the moat. He is and has always been an important part of the daily operations and helps ensure our happiness and prosperity. That's why he needs extra pampering in the run-up to Christmas, which is why we put out porridge for him every day at 14.00. You can join us both Saturday and Sunday.
The manor is open Saturday and Sunday from 10.00 to 16.00
Admission is DKK 100 for adults. Children up to the age of 17 are free.
Tickets can be purchased online or at the door at the manor. If the ticket is purchased online, it can be used either Saturday or Sunday.
