Gjethuset is an active music and cultural centre, hosting everything from rock concerts and conferences to children's theatre, professional touring theatre, chamber music, and international exhibitions.
North of Copenhagen, Gjethuset is the largest and, not least, most beautiful cultural centre – the building itself is worth a visit. Although geographically located on the outskirts of the capital region, the ambition is to deliver a diverse program of high quality.
They dare to take both big and small risks – and do so successfully. Gjethuset's beautiful surroundings can be rented for any type of event. The well-over 300-year-old walls frame a total of approximately 1000 square meters of limitless possibilities – from professional meetings to conferences and fairs.
The premises
In Gjethuset's historic premises, guests experience a truly special atmosphere and ambience – high ceilings and, with almost 2000 square meters, including a concert hall, café area, gallery, meeting rooms, conference facilities, dressing rooms, and more, Gjethuset in Nordsjælland is worth a visit. Gjethuset can accommodate up to 1300 guests.

Visitors to Gjethuset can look forward to a unique experience, with always skilled staff and technical expertise ensuring a high level of sound, catering, and a willingness to make the event as best as possible – preferably with a cultural touch.
With over 80 volunteers as part of Gjethuset's soul, the vision is to create a framework for an inspiring and inclusive space. Apart from a few meeting rooms on the 1st floor, the house is accessible, with handicap facilities on the ground floor and easy access to the house.

The surroundings in the heart of Nordsjælland are beautiful and worth a visit – Hikes to Arresø and boat trips with M/S Frederikke – and within cycling distance of one of the best beaches in the Nordic region, there is plenty of nature to explore when visiting Gjethuset. Beautiful forests within walking distance and harbour life.
