Lighthouse Burgers

It started as a summer holiday project in his grandfather's disused butcher store, but the small project gave way to big ambitions. Here it may reach a little higher into the sky than anywhere else. Lighthouse Burgers' mission was not just to sell a really good burger. They also wanted to create a different universe where both guests and employees feel welcome - with good humor, exuberant energy and delicious ingredients on the plate.

On Fanø, the small Wadden Sea island, good ideas are born and the summer project still exists, now with about 25 employees. Today, good food is served with local ingredients, including organic, freshly minced beef from Varde Ådal. The ingredients have been developed and tested over a long period of time. Because what is worth doing is worth doing well.

Here you get a burger that celebrates simplicity, curiosity and the belief that the project can succeed if the ambition is there. Lighthouse Burgers shows how. Not just for the good burger, but also for a cool place with space for everyone. For conviviality and a good atmosphere at the tables and behind the counter. If the staff are happy, the guests are happy too. Fanø has its own lighthouse - driven by a childhood dream that was born here on the island.
