Memphis Mansion - a tribute to Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash
In Randers, you can get up close to Elvis Presley at the Memphis Mansion museum, inspired by Elvis' home “Graceland” in the Southern United States. The house is a tribute to the King of Rock'n'Roll and the exterior is virtually identical to Graceland in Memphis. In addition, you can now also experience the legendary Jonny Cash ‘The Man In Black’ at the museum.
Memphis Mansion - A tribute to Elvis Presley the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll!
Who doesn't know Elvis or his music and the atmosphere that embraced his life. In Randers, you can get close to this atmosphere - from the South, from the 50s and from the beginning of the Rock ‘n’ Roll era. At Memphis Mansion you can see and experience one of the largest privately owned collections of Elvis memorabilia, all belonging to Elvis enthusiast and owner of Memphis Mansion, Henrik Knudsen - including some of Elvis' characteristic stage costumes.
The museum is a faithful replica of Elvis' birthplace in Tupelo, commonly known as the Tupelo House, a small wooden house of about 50 square metres. Nowhere else in the world can you experience where Elvis was born in 1935 and where he lived from 1957 until his death in 1977, aged just 42, in one place.
Jonny Cash - The Man In Black
Jonny Cash was also a music legend and the Memphis Mansion is the only place outside the USA where you can get up close to the great idol. Discover the music, handwritten notes from Cash, original letters and merchandise from Cash's tours - and much more.
