Overlade Church

This church is quite new, built in 1916, but the inventory is much older and originates from the church of Bjørnsholm, which for many years was part of the Monastery of Vitskøl.

Most intersting is a rare double crucifix dating back to the 16th Century. The altarpiece represents Jesus blessing the children. It is said that Lucie Ingeman, the wife of the Danish psalmist B.S. Ingemann, painted it.
